Funny you should mention the BBC app, because this is one of the main offenders. The whole BBC family is affected, news, sport iPlayer. Not exclusively though. Sky news and family is another, Strava another. The list goes on. Not all apps, but a select few. And this only happens when connected to my home Sky router. My phone is the only device affected in my household. No issues browsing the internet with any browser, just the specific apps. The issue is sorted by either switching WiFi off and back on again, or resetting the phone, but only for a random length of time before it re-occurs. This simply CANNOT be ignored. I've now sent 3 error reports and counting. Still no progress. I have to admit to getting massively frustrated now.
