I am facing the same issue and it was a nightmare for me to setup a phone (via transfer). Samsung - This is a very critical issue Apps are struggling with the connection on wifi6 -5GHz and they don't send or refresh data. Please release an update for this on priority -as this is rendering the device unreliable and don't make us regret for buying this product.

Did any of the people who posted after my reply from two weeks ago actually try the solution I suggested? As I said, doing this resolved all the issues for me.
You do not need to change any settings in your router, it can all be done in the phone settings.
On the S24 Ultra, go to Settings -> Connections -> tap on your wifi network -> tap on the gear icon -> IP settings -> Static -> leave IP address, Gateway and Network prefix length as is -> change DNS 1 and DNS 2 to your preferred DNS servers (Google: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 | Cloudflare: 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 | OR ANY OTHER DNS SERVERS THAT YOU WANT TO USE) -> tap on Save.
Go back to Connections -> More connection settings -> Private DNS -> Private DNS provider hostname -> enter the hostname of the DNS provider you want to use (Google: dns.google | Cloudflare: one.one.one.one | OR ANY OTHER DNS SERVERS THAT YOU WANT TO USE) -> tap on Save.
This has worked for me so far on two different phones that had the same wifi issues, so I'm curious to see if it does so for others as well.

I’ve been battling this exact WiFi issue with an unlocked US version of S23 FE that I’ve only had for a couple of months. Landed on this post while checking if galaxy s24 series have similar WiFi troubles.
Thanks for outlining these steps in detail. I’ve followed your directions, will watch for a couple of days and report back if it helps.

Update: I’ve had this setting for just over 12 hours, unfortunately it hasn’t changed behavior from what it was. Like before, there have been a few brief moments when it is able to stay connected for a bit, then it keeps disconnecting going back to the connect- disconnect loop.

Unfortunately, I have to report as well that with my device the issue is back seemingly at random. At times, after I reconnect to my network in morning or after coming home it works perfectly fine, on other days the affected apps still show the same behavior being really slow or not loading content at all. They work again restarting the phone or briefly switching to the mobile network and back to wifi, but still it is very annoying. I hope someone at Samsung is looking into this.

Thanks for confirming, definitely starting to sound like it’s an underlying hardware+software issue with the devices. I’ve been trying to send an error report through the Samsung app and even that isn’t going through. I think I’m done. On the lookout for a new device I can actually use as a smartphone and will be switching once I have the budget for it.
Since s23 FE was a recent release, just like the cheesyman’s situation, it isn’t available as a trade in option yet anywhere here, so I’ll have to spend more out of pocket and hold onto this dud for a while which is even more frustrating.

I'm having the same issue the last couple days, it's terrible. I have to turn my Wi-Fi off at home just to accomplish basic tasks. Every other device in my house is connected to Wi-Fi just fine. It's definitely the phone. How do you submit an error report?

You'll need to download and login to the Samsung Members app on your phone, then go to the "Support" tab (3rd at the bottom for me), scroll all the way down and find the "Send Feedback" section. In that select the "Error Reports" and it'll prompt you to give access to more photos and videos on your device, you can choose "Dont select more" . Then it'll show you a list of categories (features/topics/issues) for which it can generate an error report, choose "Networking/Wi-Fi", change the frequency to "Often" and put in a description of your issue. The "Send system log data" will be automatically selected. Once you've entered details of the problem, hit the icon representing send (like it shows in email apps) at the top right hand corner. It'll tell you it's generating an error report and to not back out of that screen. Once done, it'll display a message that error report was sent.
Ensure you're on a reliable connection, meaning turn on mobile data, while you do this process because the first time I tried, I typed up the issue and didn't realize the phone lost connectivity from the WiFi, so when I hit send it failed and I lost the issue description I'd typed up too.
