Hello,, I've just received my S24 Ultra and compared to my S21 Ultra the colours on the S24 Ultra are washed out and not as Saturated?, I've adjusted all the display settings and still cannot get the colours to match the older S21 Ultra, I've contact samsung uk customer service they went through Smart Tutor and couldn't find anything amiss has anyone else found this to be the same on their S24 ultra? I'm not sure if Samsung UK are aware of this issue? And whether a software update will solve it?, I suspect it's the new Gorilla glass amour glass which is anti-reflective which is great but not at the expense of colour, I'm seriously considering returning the S24 ultra and keeping my S21 Ultra

In the UK they are using Royal Mail for the returns with a 48 hour service and the 48 hours is only a guideline, especially if this falls over the weekend which mine will. So realistically Friday is the latest I can send my trade in back otherwise they will charge me an additional £600. So they have today and tomorrow at the latest to get this fixed.

I also concerned about the brightness first because it was much dimmer than my S22U. But More I gave time to the phone (and also did a cache wiping), I think it is slightly brighter than my S22U. I don't see a huge difference between two even outdoors with automatic brightness. So for now, brightness is not a concern for me. Even colors are slightly washed out, not huge difference. S22U is a bit more vibrant and this is also a lesser concern for me but I really like to have vibrant colors back. My biggest concern is the display noise. And that is noticeable in dark rooms on grayish colors mostly. I hope this is gonna be solved.

I decided to keep the phone and use it and I think the colors should get better in future updates.

The more i use it the more I get used to it.

I won't send it back because I had a great deal as part as an subscription.

I don't think it will be fixed completely by Samsung. Maybe they can add a little vibrance but my guess is the screen they use is just different and more natural designed.

I have contacted Samsung trade in to advise that I am sending the s24 the phone back for a replacement. They have advised that if I do not receive the new phone then to contact them back on the 07/02. As I am due to send my S22 for trade in but won't be until. The new phone is sent out.

Samsung's annual profits continued to decline in 2023

The company is banking on the Galaxy S24 devices to help it recover this year.

NOT if they dont fix this travesty....gotta say am quite disappointed so far - s24 is a very small update on s23 - very few new things - yes how they manage to screw it up so badly??? is like everyone just gave up and there was no quality checks or focus groups with consumers to establish what is that consumers want!!! - they rushed it - clearly chasing money with no vision

no - given we pay £1400 on this phone - they should make sure these issues were picked up before launching it

Sadly the S24 launch has apparently been the largest one over, with orders 38% higher than last year. So they are doing fine, no incentive to fix anything.
