At least they know that so many people are having this issue. i encourage everyone who has this problem to report this! let them know we are not happy!

I'm now also in chat with Samsung technical support and thats exactly what I told them too. And my plans are same with this, I really like the phone but this vivid mode issue will be a showstopper for me and if they can not announce this as an issue and officially promise a fix for it.

Thanks for checking, I have also spoken to Samsung Technical. Again, they're aware and working on a software fix. However no ETA given. I need to return this phone by early Feb, so if not fixed in the next week, I'll be forced to return all... Samsung will give me an update in two weeks, sadly, that'll be too late and tarnished my first experience of having a Samsung Ultra phone 😞

I'm noticing the same... If there won't be a fix soon, I'll sinds it back. The colours look lifeless...

Yeah.. just received my unit, i'm in the same boat as everyone else here. The difference is noticeable but not as bad as other make it to be. Don't get me wrong, I also want vivid to be vivid again! And it's clearly not a panel thing, because i watch an HDR video on youtube, side by side with my S22 Ultra, and the 24 Ultra looked better, nice vivid colors! Normal videos on youtube, the S22 Ultra looks better. So it's something in the UI that doesn't apply the vivid mode. Hope the fix comes sooner than later!
