S24 Ultra users be careful of the pen

I have noticed more than once the pen being loose from the handset. I then click it back in. The weird thing is that I never clicked it to release it. Thought I would remind all S24 Ultra users to be mindful as I know it is expensive to replace it.

Maybe when I put the mobile on hard surface but can't be sure why the pen releases so early.

Does the end of the S Pen now stick out more than on the S23. I'm sure i read it somewhere that it does. This was (still is) a bug bear of mine on the S23 as it's a pain to remove the pen when the phone is in its case.

I feel it slots into the mobile and have the case that came with the mobile that creates some space between it.

It does.... Guessing it's either an intentional design change to make it easier to take out or just as a result of the titanium frame...

I just had the same issue this evening where I noticed the pen had released on its own without me pushing it. There also seems to be a bit of movement to it when pushed in as well, fairly loose.

Yeah same I noticed it this morning, the pen was sticking out past the case. They can't fix that with firmware..

Yeah just how it's built, I guess it's easier to push out compared to older models where it was flush to the case, but does come at the cost of being a bit more looser maybe.

We just need to be more mindful about it going forward and when taking it out of our pockets.

Might flag it with Samsung if it continues into the weekend

But now worried that it may be a common issue and possibly a fault 💩
