S24 Ultra - Super fast charging stopped working

Hey, so my S24 Ultra isn't super fast charging anymore. It used to take only an hour to charge from less than 10% to full, but now it takes an hour and 10 minutes to charge from 40%. I haven't changed anything with my charger, cable, or plug. I've tried switching sides on the cable and using a different cable and plug, but nothing seems to work. Do you have any idea what's going on? Is it because of the latest software update? thanks in advance for any info on this ☺️

Can you check in the usc-c port with a torch to see if there's any build up of debris etc @D-C-P 

And can you also try an alternative relevant brick and charging cord too.

ty, ive had a look inside the port && cant see any obvious signs of debris && have tried the old trick of blowing into the port to clear out any loose dust etc. Ive tried another cable && brick but same outcome (fast charging && not super fast charging). i have tried both ends of the type c cable and both sides of the type c on each end. would it be an idea to buy compressed air to clean the port out?

Hi @D-C-P  Some Additional advice, 

I would still suggest that you clean the charging port thoroughly with say a toothpick to rule out  any debris there.  I assume the charger is fine.   some advice here https://www.asurion.com/connect/tech-tips/how-to-clean-out-your-android-or-iphone-charging-port/    However worthwhile checking  Diagnostics via Samsung Members-Get Help.

Whilst not guaranteed sometimes wiping the cache partition can help with charging issues, if not done lately certainly an idea if other solutions do not help.   Follow these steps:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , Tv USB or other Device, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

If though issue persists for a while  after troubleshooting Would be advisable  to send an Error Report,possibly visit a Samsung Service centre.

i have the same issue allready called samsung charging port is faulty mine will be replaced hope it will fix the issue

Did anyone find a fix to the problem?
Mine starts off with super fast charging then after 1-2 min goes to show charging. I have tried everything like cleaning my usb port and restarting. But no change.
My charger and cable works fine with another s24 ultra (neighbours phone) so I am certain it not the charger.
It got to be a software issue. I am also on the latest software update..
