I seem to have an issue with this update. The battery drain is awful i  Went from being able to have 11hrs plus of  screen time. To no more than 5hrs. Done all the usual wipe cache etc etc. I can't even figure this out. Never before coming from s2 s7 egde s9plus note10 plus best phone ever! Or The s23 ultra never had an issue with updates but now with the s24 ultra last weeks update seems to have screwed it a little and advice would appreciated.

Regards

Hi there 👋 and welcome.
If you wiped cache partition optimised battery, put unused apps to sleep tried to run phone into safe mode i suggest to see under apps in settings what apps might be draining your battery the most if not there's other option you could try open you phones dialer type *#9900# then navigate to batterystats reset press on that restart your phone and see if any of that helps.1731698644474.jpg1731698644503.jpg

Thank you for the welcome. I have checked apps even to see if there was one that was waking a lot there doesn't seem to be an app that's drain it all looks ok so scratching my head. Do I need to be at 100% when I do reset battery stats?

Thank you for the welcome. I did the update on the 8th November a week ago and been trying bits to solve so I'd thought I come to the forums and seek some advice.

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

Sorry to hear of your issues.

I too have the S24 Ultra, bought direct from Samsung during pre-order in January. I updated it to November 2024 patch on the day it was released early November.

I usually get around 10 hours streaming and a full day charge from 100%.

Today 84% charge has given me 7 hours SOT and 13 + hours screen off time.

During the course of today I've used the device for a couple of hours on calls, limited streaming (unusual for me and streaming uses less battery than SOT where you are constantly touching the screen) but the rest has been using the screen to touch.

So not really seeing a reduction due to the update.
