Does this happen with Samsung Wallet too @Amz-ai .
Sometimes a soft reboot by turning the phone off and on helps.
You could try Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
And make sure the apps upto date software wise.
And try Settings > Apps > Google Wallet > Storage > Clear Cache > Then see what happens.

I tried an NFC payment today for the first time with my S24 Plus and it worked eventually but was very slow - was about to give up when it was accepted. Will keep an eye on it over the next few days. I use Google Wallet as my bank doesn't accept Samsung Pay/Wallet.

Day 1: Adding Credit cards to Samsung Pay. S24 ultra won't read the cards.
I.tried on my S21 Ultra works fine.
Absolutely frustrated. Spent $1500 for this ***** phone.

similar issue here - NFC stopped working without reason. I tried wiping the cache partition but nothing changed
