Struggling get my phone sorted did the update on the 18th and now get a constant alert for issue in my charger port not been anywhere near water and done clear cache and factory reset, having to charge wireless which isn't fast charging any ideas to help. Thanks in advance

Factory resetting your device, should have sorted this.

Are you able to try a different cable/charger combination.

Connect it to a PC or laptop using the cable supplied and see if it charges without any alerts

@towny1993: I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. Do you have access to another charger that you can try to see if the issue persists, as this will help to verify if the problem lies with the charger, or the phone itself. 

If the issue persists with multiple chargers, then please head to the Samsung Members app > Support > Phone diagnostics > Cable charging, and follow the on-screen prompts. Does this produce an 'Action required' notification in the summary at the end of the test?

Will try it at work tomorrow don't have a PC at home. Using wireless but shouldn't be like this after 3 weeks

Already done that and spoke to a team member luckily got a wireless charger

Usb reset.
Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device.

Hi I've got the exact same problem I switch it off to charge seems to work but not ideal maybe Samsung will fix it on next update
