Has anybody else noticed that pretty much no game will run properly on the S24 Ultra yet?
I've read on reddit that it may be a chip software issue, but cannot find any information about this officially.

Anybody have any ideas on what this is, if there is a fix ect?

Tried all of these and I still get constant crashes in Warcraft Rumble.

Absolutely ridiculous they let something like this slip QA wh3n testing.

The best thing that worked for me was to go into Game Boost and set it to Battery Saver. I still get some crashes, but greatly reduced.

I tried all sorts of things so I am not sure what actually fixed it but I've not had a single crash or freeze for the past couple of days!

Not a single crash or freeze! When it would crash/freeze sometimes multiple times in a row in the span of minutes (basically after game loads -> crash)!

Currently everything works fine (hope I don't jinx it lol). I even turned off all the power saving/battery saver modes. RAM plus still on OFF.

One thing I suspect might have been the culprit - game booster add-ons. I had downloaded in addition to the pre-installed game booster:

1. Perf Z

2. Game clock

3. Game booster plus

4. Game plugins

At one point I went into apps/system apps and force stopped + uninstalled the above where possible. The rest just cleaned data and uninstalled the updates.

Can someone that is still having issues check if perhaps any of the above is installed?

Apparently the issue is not with the phone or the game(s)... I deliberately waited before reporting as resolved fearing it would crash at any point but here I am... 2 days later... some heavy and long sessions and not even a drop in fps!

Check your apps, running services and disable/remove anything you have doubts about guys! All is not lost!

Hi all,

Just to verify, these issues are most definitely either Snapdragon Gen 3 (S24 Ultra) related issues, or related to OneUI 6.1.

I got an S24 Ultra recently which came with a bonus S9 FE Tab. Both are running Android 14, but the phone is on OneUI 6.1 where the S9 FE Tab is still running OneUI 6.0.

I can replicate the app freezing fault without fail in Roblox by going into a particular game, and going to the 'Shop' section inside that game. The S24 freezes without fail every single time after clicking on an item to purchase. The only way to recover is to force close Roblox and re-launch.

On the S9 FE tab with the Exynos 1380, when I go into exactly the same area in the same game, it launches a prompt to tell me that I dont have enough Robux and I need to purchase Robux. This prompt never appears on the S24 Ultra, because the launching of the prompt is freezing the app.

This is most definitely an issue for Samsung to rectify. Hope this helps Samsung diagnose the fault. It's not us or the app developers, it has to be them.

Correct yes, I saw the post containing the suggestions and have set all these conditions.

I even cleared the cache of both the app, and also from the Samsung Data Cache Partition in the Galaxy 'Volume Up' Recovery Menu. It has made no difference. The launching of the prompt crashes the software, which has not ever occurred on any of my previous Samsung devices, or the new S9 FE Tab running Android 14 and OneUI 6.0.
