There should be at least 16gb on S25 ultra and maybe more on the 1tb or highest, been looking at the rog 8 pro got 24gb and we had 12 max for too many ultras now

12 Gb RAM is working perfectly with games etc
Why do you feel you need 16Gb?
Bit overkill really on a smartphone

In my opinion unused RAM is wasted RAM.

I'm yet to even touch the sides of 12GB of RAM as these phone's are so well optimised @T_C

However who knows how phone's will progress in the future which may well need more.

😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I agree we don't need more. I develop games and run mathematical simulations and my work PC only has 16GB running windows 10. All you are going to do is add something that most people don't need that drains more of your battery.

I read that it's important to have big ram on your device but you can have alot of ram if the partition and storage is done poorly it will last less time. I would like more RAM too but the partition and storage has to be done right. I own a Note 20 Ultra and S 24 Ultra and both have 12 GB RAM. Each time I transferred the data from my previous phone to the new one. Now my S20 Ultra has 5.5 GB available and I used it approx 2 years and stopped using it in August last year when I upgraded to Note 20 Ultra, this has 4.1 GB data available after being used 5 months with transferred data from the previous phone, and now I have 4.7 GB data available on the S24 Ultra with transferred data from previous phone and used for 5 days. Now you be the judge of this.

Some apps get cached for speed, so the RAM being used can be freed by another app if necessary. You can still buy phones with 3GB RAM and they run okish 😁

Tbh I am not really worried, just a bit because I am concerned how this new system will affect RAM because there is nothing worse than to run out of RAM on your phone. I don't use mine for gaming but I browse Internet and YouTube video and I use it for writing and editing documents. I also like to play with the camera quite alot. I would like to do clear cache partition completely but I fear that I might not do it right and break my phone. 😂 I know that usually all the complaints get solved by Samsung with updates, if not immediately, I know that Samsung won't let us down with this phone even if that update comes after a year or so. So far I am loving the phone and I am happy I upgraded.

Also a manual deep cleaning of my phone is due when I will have time for it. I am sure there is some residual data left from when I transferred data from phone to phone.

You only really need to do the clear partition thing after a firmware update. Transferring files from your old phone to the new one doesn't transfer any of the partition files. I've only ever done it twice in the past when I've had problems with my phone crashing a lot.

I wouldn't worry about breaking your phone clearing the partition cache. The only risky thing is when you do a firmware update and you run out of battery 😁
