Have you tried registering your thumb print twice @DanAhmed
You can also go into Biometrics and fingerprints to check if your thumb prints are being recognised at all.
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/my-fingerprint-scanner-isnt-working.
There us a diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App.
A Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Same problem: in my packet the fingerprint sensor try read my leg and (my leg not registred ) disabled itself. The accident touch protect is enabled, I tried, when I unlocked my phone the protection screen popped but when locked the screen the fingerprint sensor read even if the atp turned on.. Kinda annoying because my previous Samsung galaxy S22 didn't do that.
