I have an s 24 ultra every now and then I have to take off the cover and clean it as I'm a joiner and the dust from power tools gets everywhere. As soon as I do this 2 or 3 times the fingerprint print sensor no longer works which is really annoying, I'm on my third case already having only had the phone a year, does anyone know a case that will work even after cleaning?

Hello 👋 @Helprequired

I appreciate your working environment is causing some issues.

I work in a warehouse environment so can appreciate dust can get everywhere.

Personally I use the Spigen Ez Fit Glass Screen Protector, coupled with the Spigen ZeroOne Edition Magsafe Case ,and find i have no issues.

Maybe look at the Otterbox range 🤔

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

It's all to do with how good the glue is on the screen protectors, as if they start to lift or bubble it affects the ultrasound in the fingerprint scanner.

It's why a lot of screen protectors originally gave issues with the under screen sensors, with my S24U I don't use one the screen is strong enough. With my S22U the only reliable one I found while working for a builders merchant (so plaster, cement and sand) was the dome glass protectors once you UV cure the liquid adhesive they don't lift or move until you actually put a bit effort into lifting the corners
