S24 Ultra Charging Slowly

Since I got the S24 Ultra a few months ago I've had issues with the charging speed. It says it's super fast charging, and it says "x minutes until full" but in reality it takes infinitely longer to charge than it says it will (e.g. when it says 40 minutes, it's realistically more like 2 hours). 

I'm using an official Samsung charger (have tried various different chargers to no avail). I've also toggled fast charging on/off in the settings, turned off battery optimisation, and a few other troubleshooting things. 

Have others had a similar experience? Any other tips? Or do I need to contact Samsung? Thanks!

I've had a few occasions where I expected my S24U to fast charge and it didn't and I found toggling off and on fast charging in settings resolved it (settings->battery->charging settings).

Even my S22ultra doesn't take nearly two hours like you are claiming that your S24ultra does.

@Max0895: Are you using your Galaxy S24 Ultra while it is charging, or do you have any active applications open in the background? As a troubleshooting step, try powering off the device and connecting to your charger, to see if you notice an improvement. 

If the issue persists, try connecting to your charger, then heading to Settings > Battery, and check the status below the green bar at the top of the screen. Does it say 'Super Fast charger connected'?

I have also mixed up my cables and plugged in to my 45w charger wondering why I am not getting performance expected 🤣

Thanks all for the advice. I've done some further experiments and come to the conclusion that the problem is the cable (it's a third party one, albeit a 100w cable from Anker). But when I switch it for a different cable it charges much faster. I'm just relieved it's not the phone that's the problem. Thanks for the help!

I'm having problems with charging my s24 ultra !! It used charge up in 30 mins but now says 2 hours

I just spent 3 hours with fast charging enabled and 45w Samsung charger and cable. S24U. Turning fast chrg off and on seems to solve the issue for the charging session.
