S24 Ultra Battery Drain Issue

Update: 

I was struggling with poor battery on my S24 Ultra and was even thinking to return it. After some research online I decided to reset my phone to factory and set it up fresh. I did not use smartswitch this time and now I can confirm that the battery just wont die... 😅 

So anyone struggling with battery try the above. I know it is a pain installing all the apps again if not using smartswitch, but it is worth it!!

Hi SLO,

My story about 120hz and 60hz was last time I used S21FE, battery will drain very fast with 120hz, so I used 60hz and happy with battery life, S21FE will stand for more than 48hrs with 7h SOT.

Update to you all.

My S24+, 60hz, 30% brightness, no game just normal use, now it stand for 58hrs with 6hrs SOT and left 12%

I am not sure if it ok, however it seems that battery perform better after few more charge, this is the 6th times of charge.

It's absolutely shocking the battery drain on my s24 ultra. Not acceptable.

So I just following your method yesterday. So far,  I think the battery is draining even faster before factory reset. I will give it a couple more days for the battery pattern to kick in and let's see. This battery issue is annoying.

This is my result in the second date after factory reset, manually install apps from play store. 

I think Smart Switch is the culprit for the battery perfomance.

Newest update for today: the battery is draining again. So far,  my phone cannot surpassed 6h30 OST even with wifi. 

I think at this point I have to accept that Samsung messed up with S24 ultra.

6h30m SOT isn't so bad . SoT is not the unit of battery measure

6.5 SOT for some phone, yes. But not for S24 ultra I believe. This is a $1000 phone. 

Back in S23 ultra, I can get 8 hours SOT with 24 hours mixed used easily. Now Samsung advertised confidently that S24ultra can beat Iphone 15PM in battery test but now I really doubt it it can even make it to 80% of Iphone.
