Hello,
on my S24+ running Android 15 (S926BXXU5BYCG) I use UWB for hands-free trunk opening in my Tesla.
The UWB works if I toggle it off and on in settings for about 15 minutes (not sure exactly). When my phone is inactive for more than 15 minutes, it suddenly stops working and the phone is no longer detected by car. To make it work again I need to go to settings and toggle UWB off and on again, not even unlocking the phone or opening the app helps.
I don't think this is an issue with the Tesla app sleeping, because:
Are there any more settings or debug tool to configure the idle timeout or to see some diagnostics about UWB?
I checked the developer docs for UWB and found some limit about background positioning, not sure if aplicable here. There is also a possibility, that the UWB needs to be kept alive somehow and the app does not do that, maybe someone can shed some light.
Thank you

Maybe enable unrestricted to uwb apps. Under settings/apps enable system apps and search

Thank you very much This seems to have fixed the issue, I didn't even realize UWB uses some internal apps to work.
For anyone else - when you go to apps, to show system apps, the setting moved from the three dots to the filter/sort icon right above the app list.
Then there are three apps:
I left the phone inactive overnight and walking to the trunk in the morning, the car picked it up and opened the trunk.
