The camera quality is bad, especially noticed when comparing with a year old iphone or other current gen phones.
Photos are washed out, have some noise and are blurry which is immediately noticed once zoomed a bit in the photo. And this is for both daylight and night photos.
The lower gesture bar portion need to have more height because the side swipe gestures to change between apps aren't triggered when using any case that has slightly raised edges on bottom of the phone. It really requires user to dig finger at the most bottom side of the screen to switch them.
The battery life is around mediocre, definitely expected much better battery life from the newest gen phone. Reviewers are still not objective enough when testing the phones.
I waited more than 5 years to upgrade from my Note 10+ and expected much more. Definitely got a better screen and overall performance, but the aspects above mentioned ruin the experience of such an expensive phone.

I just took test photos on my s21u and s24u inside of the apartment, with the table lamp turned on.. yup there is a difference, but it looks like the difference between 21 and 22 year model. My pixel p7p is ripping my s24u in every photo mode. I knew that pixel wilbe maybe slightly better, but I didn't expect s24u camera to be THAT bad. 😭

Yup. Camera and AI translation sucks.
I live in Denmark and I'm Ukrainian speaker. No Danish, no Ukrainian language support 🤦

Ok. I made my decision. I'll stay with this phone one year and will next year switch to iphone again.
I feel android still has not learned from apple how to build software. The feeling I get is that we are full of these features but most of them do not add any real value and end up breaking the quality experience. For example on the camera we have good lenses but the quality is meh. The software is meh.
Same for the AI features. Samsung has good concepts but they are not finished. They are incomplete. For example the photo editing with ai , if I want to change to comic , it doesn't create any kind of similar picture where I can resonate with my other picture.
Another example, with the buds pro 3. The quality of the transition of listening to music to a conversation is slow and not natural and then it does not transition back.
Bixby is a heavy smart assistance which goes into unnecessary details like when I ask about the weather and does not follow my instructions. So it wastes my time. Compared with iOS the information shared is that starts sharing the time table of the weather rather then going to the point and summarize it.
On second authentication it does not recognize properly the codes sent so I need to insert them manually. On apple I never had an issue.
These are several concept examples that look incomplete on their work. If samsumg finishes them and polish them. Then it surpasses apple. Until then is only a "toy" that is broken and doesn't really add any value to people lives.
I think most people fail to realize this and this what makes apple vs android debate going on.
Android is a wonderful platform but still, after all these years... fails to make it a natural and useful for human beings.
I hope samsung developers see this and consider this feedback to do something about it.

Other features that doesn't work well.
1. Finger print sensor. It doesn't always recognize.
2. Face id. It doesn't work well.
3. Phone in the pocket. Easily starts pressing buttons.
It is to many things... looks like I bought a cheap Chinese phone and got ripped 1000$

Took today this picture. I think if had less noise it would be perfect.

Good grief. I just got an s24 ultra after holding out on my regular Note 10. I didn't want anything this big, ever. and then I noticed this too. I thought it was just me. night shots take forever and even when you use the flash it's blurry. My old Note 10, as slow and tiny as it seemed to be, never did anything this bad. This phone has been out what, 9 months? they should have fixed this by now.

I'm reading comment after comment on how disappointing this is. I want my old phone back. it was old but it was doable. 6 years ago should not be better than today.

I'm not holding my breath for anything to be fixed. My SiL has S23Ultra and its as bad as my S24Ultra. Same bundle of camera issues. They didn't fix last year's "flagship", they are not going to fix this years.
