Hi there. I hope you are all well.
I need some clarification on the configuration of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro on the S24 Ultra. I have done a considerable amount of research but cannot find a satisfactory answer to the scenario below.
The phone has Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos for gaming, as well as the ability for custom EQ in the sound quality and effects audio settings tab.
However, I was under the impression that those settings are applied to the phone's speakers or USB-connected earbuds/headphones.
The Galaxy Buds2 Pro are controlled by the Samsung Wear application. In the application, there is 360 audio with head tracking as well as an equalizer with set templates.
Now the Galaxy Buds2 Pro are advertised to use Dolby Atmos via the 360 audio setting, and in some cases, it is suggested that to enable 360 audio, you should disable Dolby Atmos in the phone's audio settings. Some users have indicated that enabling 360 audio disables Dolby Atmos.
However, in my case, I have both Dolby Atmos enabled as well as 360 audio, as well as my custom EQ set. Admittedly, the audio is absolutely fantastic; however, I am left rather confused as to what the correct configuration should be for this combination.
If anyone could possibly check on their side to see if this is an unintended bug or if possible, advise based on experience what the correct settings should be, that would be great.
Thank you in advance for any help.

When I use my Samsung Buds² Pro Earbuds with the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra and use the 360 and any of the eq settings dolby atmosphere remains activated @SciGhost
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Great, thank you for the feedback. Based on the research done and information found, users indicated that enabling 360 audio disabled Dolby Atmos on older phone models such as the S23 Ultra. Perhaps after all the firmware updates to the Buds2 Pro and newer firmware on the S24 Ultra, this feature has been enabled. Whether it's a bug or intended is unknown, but overall I am very pleased with the quality of sound output.

What settings do you all prefer for music/movie listening, 360 audio, or Dolby Atmos?
