S24 ultra AI processing pictures really bad

Had loads of photos taken on 200m and 50m looks good when taking picture look at it on gallery after 3 seconds BANG!! it gets changed and looks so bad !!!

You can disable image processing if you'd like. Open the camera app, go to settings, press intelligent optimisation, turn it down or even off. Should stop that extra processing

I totally understand and appreciate your viewpoint on this. 

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.  

Some people do turn the optimisation down to minimum, however it present this cannot be turned Off. 

Some owners want this to be available so have send this as feedback via the Samsung Members App. 

Settings > Camera App launch > Tap on tne Cog icon in the Lh Corner at the top > Intelligent Optimisation > Change to Minimum. 

Some have also learnt to use another App  called Expert Raw.

Sorry to hear of your issues. I too have the S24 Ultra and whilst the device is pretty much faultless, I have been underwhelmed by the cameras.

I've seen small improvements throughout the year and am currently running One UI7 beta which has improved the zoom a little further.

Still feel that improvements are required but getting better all be it slowly and incrementally.

"The setting only affects Photo mode," according to the Intelligent Optimization settings, yet I am still receiving AI post-processing and processing in Pro Mode (exporting in raw format) and Expert Raw mode.

I also tried going to the gallery app's information page, turning off the camera's permissions, and then using Google Photos, but the AI processing continued.

Therefore, utilize Pro Mode exporting in JPG format if you want to avoid this poor AI image post-processing.

I'm hoping they'll release an update that allows me to completely disable it because I don't see the need to have it when you have the option to "remaster" the image when you take it.

I have tried changing setting but still foes it gutted because the photo looks great before the AI other photos look good but mostly when I take pics of people they turn very pale

why r u replying if u dont know it? remove super hdr in gallery. Turn of scene optimizer and set optimiztaion to minimum. also turn off adaptive pixel. This kind of fixes it for 12mp. For 50 and 200mp u just need perfect sun lighting otherwise dont use it. It is a complete gimmick unfortunately.

"By not optimising pictures after they're taken" means no processing. Screen optimiser is disabled when minimal processing is set. I never said I didn't know, I said the answer

Same goes for remaster. It Oliver saturated images and adds to much contrast in highlight and shadows. This gives it a over burned effect.

Wish there was a value slider, so we can mix between original and remastered version
