S24 plus work profile app has a delay

I'm experiencing a delay when pressing back on any work profile app like outlook, teams, onedrive. I upgraded from s22 plus to s24 plus, I never experience this on my s22 before. Just wondering if the work profile is not yet optimize on s24 plus or all s24 series. The delay is between 1 to 2 seconds delay, when I press the back on the app itself there is no delay but when I do the back gesture there is a delay. My setup is swipe gesture.

OMG Yes! This was the solve for me using the Gboard keyboard as well! Thanks so much for posting this

This issue hasn't been fixed yet even in 2025.

The solution provided here didn't help in my case. The lag is really frustrating.

I am not using SwiftKey but I did use Gboard. As soon as I switched back to Samsung keyboard and disabled Gboard, everything is smooth there.

It's annoying because it's the global keyboard configuration, not necessarily the one from Work profile. 

Edit: Just now I reenabled Gboard in the general settings but uninstalled the one from the Work profile and everything is working smoothly. Perhaps having Gboard running in both places causes the issues.

Thank you for your advice. The delay in the Work profile was driving me crazy. After set Samsung Keyboard on the Work profile, everything went back to normal

This is the real answer. It happened to be the same with Gboard keyboard. Changed battery optimize to unrestricted and done! Problem solved!!

In my case, gboard was causing the issue. I set Samsung keyboard as the default for work profile and the lag is completely gone. It looks like Samsung keyboard wants to always run in the background to make some features work properly and is causing huge lag if it's not set as the default keyboard in work profile.

You saved me from spending a thousand euros for a new phone.

My whole phone is back to normal after I adjusted energy settings for the keyboards in private and work profile to unrestricted.

Apps are now opening in under one second instead of 5-10 seconds.
