Hi @JazzyPhizzle ,
Did you try resetting all settings? Not a factory reset. I would avoid that one at all cost. It is a last resort bullet, but a reset to all settings is not as drastic.
Settings -> General Management -> Reset -> Reset all settings
But before doing "Reset all settings", I would try "Reset accessibility settings", which is also on Settings -> General Management -> Reset
It could well be some accessibility issue.

I was hoping that one of the reset will sort it.
Good luck, Factory reset is very drastic, but it does solve loads of problems.
