I have tried to edit the raw pictures with Darktable and RawTherapee and neither software is recognising the format.
Is anyone having problems with the raw format?
I should have said that I am using those programs on a Mac Intel chipset.

ProMode RAW should be recognized, but it is currently broken that is has no more dynamic range than the jpg.
For ExpertRAW files the compression is no longer optional (it was before), some RAW editors can't handle compressed DNG files, you have to contact the developers and ask for support. Adobe works btw.
But ExpertRAW is broken too that it shows artefacts in darker parts of the image.

I'm not surprised, the raw files aren't actually raw, they're jpegs wrapped in dng. Open one up in ExifTool and you'll see. That's why Lightroom AI denoise doesn't work, it NEEDS true raw data.
Convert it to a jpeg that it is and be sad.

Yet Samsung is pretending it does raw.

In my S24 ultra raws from jpg can only ne opened with Snapseed. Neither Darktable nor Raw Therapee can handle them. The pro mode raw is perfect because no hdr is present and the picture can be edited as you wish. I'm using gcam that deliver real raws with no compression at all and they can be edited in any editor
