I'm not sure of the correct terminology for my question, but I hope people understand my problem.
If I'm on the phone to a company who wants me to press buttons on my phone keypad. Eg select 1 for customer service 2 for returns etc etc. my selection are often not recognised. An automated voice says make your selection now...you have made a selection....
Even filling my bank card details for transactions fail.
Can anyone tell me why?
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks Chris

Hi! This sounds a little strange.

To be sure—this is happening on all calls, not just a specific call?

You'll need to go to Settings > Security and privacy > Auto Blocker and turn it off. Then dial *#0*#. It should open a testing menu; go to the one for testing your screen touch. Does it select all the squares properly?

Are you using a screen protector?
Go to settings- touch sensitivity- turn on

Hey there

This is actually quite common and has been raised in here before.

Unless it happens every time (your post indicates it is sometimes) then it is down to the company you are calling and their software for their system not being correctly configured.

Other than tell that company (and customer service agents usually won't know what your talking about) not a lot you can do.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

I don't think it happens on all, but it does seem to be a lot.
If I remember correctly not had trouble with the docs, but just bought a car and could key in the card number to pay the deposit and could select an option when I rang Equniti this afternoon.

Not sure if want to turn off that Blocker. I've done the screen test in the past and that's been fine.
I'm not sure about the screen saver, I think it came off!?!?

Hi.

Normally they ask to press the # key to confirm after every input.

Also best to wait a wee bit after they have stopped talking to press the keys.

Yes, i did the # and tried several times to wait a little longer. Timing could be a possibility, but unlikely as I rang the company three times and the touch screen did work on any call.

Fair enough. Out of ideas for now 😊

Might wanna check if it happens with other companies.

I've wondered if it will make any difference if I use the s pen?
It's not caused any insurmountable issues yet, but I'd like it to work.
