Hey 👋

I just came across the RAM Plus setting in Device Care, it was already switched on. There seems to be split views on if it should be turned on or not...

Do any of you have any experience with it? Do you have it switched on?

From my understanding, the 12GB RAM that comes with the S24 Ultra should be more than enough.

I do not think it is generally advantageous  to use Ram Plus in flagship devices (though can obviously test it), a number of users certainly found that having it disabled boosted performance in their devices. I tried it and better disabled.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hi there, i posted about using ram+ a while back, check my profile for it.

Ram plus isnt really recommended because all its doing is using your devices storage.

The response i got: Your Samsung phone will use how much Ram it requires, and manages the Ram exceptionally well i.e it will release Ram from a process or App that no longer requires it.
Adding the virtual Ram is only really needed if the phone requires it as the built in Ram is being used fully.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

Had it in, had it off didn't feel much difference. I think only helps if you have lots tabs open. I have a max of about 5.

Glad it helped to resolve that issue, I'm going to test having it off for a few days and see how it all goes
