It's a personal decision @the-nar-1865
I have this option turned Off.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

12GB should be enough. There could be an occasion where the phone might need more. e.g. multitasking or very memory demanding apps, games.
Device care shows how much memory the phone is using, you could take that into account. However, as other have mentioned, If I were you, I would turn it off. Mine is off. You could always turn it back on if the need arises.
RAM plus, swap partitions use storage as "RAM" which is good on systems where memory is small. The price to pay is performance. It "frees" some memory by writing its content to the storage RAM and retrieving when needed.
Storage on the phone is very fast, but it is not faster than RAM. Reading and writing to storage is usually the bottleneck in computing.

My phone is very fast and its battery life has improved considerably. I have mentioned about battery performance on a few posts and have posted screenshots. Like this one
I was struggle to get 1 day, but now device care estimates over 4 days. Please note that battery life depends on a range of variables. I could not attribute the battery improvement to disabling RAM Plus only, but it should help.

I had to look at my Settings to see what I had. I'm at 8GB in RAM Plus.
We already have 12 GB of RAM to begin with and since I periodically close all programs down (except for two that are locked and remain open), I don't know if there's a difference either way.
I suppose there might be a measurable difference if we had dozens upon dozens of apps open, but I'm not going to take the time to test this.

I've been using RAM+ with 6 GB allotted, on my Galaxy S10e (version with 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage) for the last 3.5 years. While I never ran a benchmark test, it was helpful in my case (only 6 GB RAM) to smooth out performance, vs. without when I noticed some hiccups in performance. I often have numerous, numerous apps open (from social media to banking to messaging to investment research to healthcare to dining/shopping) along with 20-40 tabs open in my browser at any time.
I think if I'd gotten the 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage model of the S10e, maybe I'd not have needed RAM+ due to the extra 2 GB of RAM. That said, on the 6 GB model it's been really impressive. Even after 3.5 years with my S10e, it isn't missing a beat in terms of operation. I'm used to my phones being really BLEH in terms of speed & smoothness of operation after 2 to 2.5 years and have to move on. Just the battery life of my S10e is becoming a bummer, may consider a replacement battery but S25 and other models are coming soon and I may hold out for them.
