Private album feature is available on One UI 8.0. It creates an album which needs unlocking to show its content. As its name indicates, keeps all your pictures private within the gallery. There is no need to leave the app and use the private folder.
After enabling “Private album” a new option will appear on the hamburger menu.
Private Album
System -> Apps -> Gallery -> tap “Force stop” button (bottom right)
-> Scroll up to and tap Storage -> tap “Clear cache” button (bottom right)
Select Picture
Move to private album.

Hi, I added a photo to my private album, but now I can't see it anywhere in the menu. How do I fix it? I've already cleared the app cache.

Did you forcibly stop the the Gallery App before clearing cache?
Try restarting the phone as well.

Yes, I stopped the app and then cleared the cache. I just discovered the problem is with my Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. I also enabled the private album option on my Galaxy S25 Ultra, and I can see the private album on that, but it doesn't appear on the tablet. I've already rebooted it.

Is the tablet on One UI 8.0?
The private album is a feature of One UI 8.0. Tablets could use the secure folder, but I am not clear whether private album is also available for tablets.

Yes, the tablet has UI 8.0 and I was actually able to activate the Private option from the Labs, I also put a photo in the private album... and now the photo has disappeared I don't know where

Just to be clear, you cannot see the option "Private album" when tapping the burger menu, can you?
To see the private album content. I just tap the burger menu, tap Private album, fingerprint requested, and the content is shown.

Exactly, in the main menu where you find shared albums, trash, etc. the private album does not appear

Hi @KAB1
I would not use any object to clean the USB port. An air pressure spray seems more appropriate. However, I would recommend an authorised repair centre, specially if the device is under warranty.
