Secure folder

The new update made it so that you cannot use the secure folder without also setting a password on the phone. This is the dumbest thing ever. If I had a password on my phone, why would I need a separate secure folder. I just like to secure a few things and not the whole device. Absolutely ridiculous and Samsung needs to correct this NOW.

I believe secure folder also does file encryption, so it's never going backwards to less secure.

Better get used to it I'm afraid!

Its equivalent to bitlocker on a Windows device.

Can't really have a secure business grade folder if it's not got a secure password, as a basic audit requirement.

For basic hidden folders, maybe a third party basic "hidden folder" app like those fake calculator apps is what you require, if you don't need "proper enterprise protection"
