Has anyone fixed random restarts on their phone before?
I got an s24 at the end of May 2024 and it kept restarting randomly and crashing lots. I factory reset my phone last month as I was promised that would fix it, but after the update today, it crashed again.
I don't have lots of things on my phone so it shouldn't be struggling...
Never had this kind of issue with any phone before and I'm wondering if I just got a bad phone or if this is common...

Hi, and welcome to the UK community

Could be a 3rd party app or customisation causing this.

To rule out any 3rd party apps or customisations that might be causing your issues please boot to Safe Mode.

To get to Safe Mode - Long press Power button, long press Power off icon, tap Safe mode icon. (When booted into Safe mode you may need to turn off flight mode as it sometimes enables itself). Monitor your devices behaviour. If the issue is fixed then you know it's one of your 3rd party apps or customisations that were the culprit. It's then up to you to determine which one by a process of elimination.

Might be worth seeing if it can be replaced? Send error logs on the members app while you're there too as they can check them I think

The error logs have been sent each time it crashes, I'm going to try the phone in safe mode and see if it works better, might be a 3rd party app
Thank you!

If you have factory reset, shouldn't be an app? Unless an app causes it... But yeah safe mode is a good idea!

I thought that myself, and all the apps I have were brought over from my old phone (s21) so not sure it's an app thing, but I'll try safe mode and see if it helps

Seems obvious but make sure all apps updated in Samsung store and play store.
Keep an eye on which ones you open trigger it in the meantkme

If it's an old app, then likely not compatible with 64bit OS. Never bring any apps over from your S21. Download them manually when needed.
