Overheating

Hello, after the latest update, i have noticed that my phone gets hot faster than before. Usually when it gets hot, my game will lagg a bit and then after a few minutes it goes back to being smooth while the phone gets less hot. But after the after the update, my phone can't seem to manage the thermal problem anymore, it gets hot faster and games usually lagg a bit the whole time, and eats more battery than usual.

When is the next update? I don't like this update at all, deteriorating my game performance.

Yes r8, with the recent update, which rolled out on 26 March, the ohone is getting too hot to handle,why is the s24 not performing well, is it waste of money?

A known troubleshooting step is > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too. { Repair Apps may not be availableto the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Series of phone's. }

I agree with heating up while gaming this is my issue so I totally understand it's this 6.1 update cause before the last update I wasn't having these issues at all every AAA game I play it gets hot 42c.43c.44c.to 45c thus is ridiculous samsung fix this please asap

I understand all of that but nothing can change this but samsung it's the 6.1 update on my s24ultra gaming makes the phone hot because it's not optimized correctly I don't understand before this update this wasn't a problem AAA Games are getting 43c,44c,45c crazy samsung fix this

I'm experiencing the same problem, with my Samsung Galaxy S24.

The overheating happens frequently, especially while on mobile data (instead of WiFi).

I haven't tried any gaming app but even by simply using Google Maps the problem is quite evident (very high temperature, battery drain). I made a long post in another thread of this forum with more details about my issue but I feel it comes from the same root cause.

In my personal opinion there is some issue to fix in either the phone firmware or hardware.
