You have to make sure your notifications on the watch is on and on each individual app that you want to receive notifications on the phone, switched on.

Another option is make sure notifications on the watch is on even if the phone notifications is on. I would not 100% rely on a watch ,others may.

Go to security settings on the watch and click wrist detection off and u should get old notifications and calls. You can still switch off the ones you don't want by the phone app notifications.

Just a few ideas . It works for me.

Hey there

Silly question I'm sure but have you paired your new watch to your phone?

Hi Piper123 , I used to have a Galaxy Watch 4, that's why I know how to use it, the watch is completely connected to the phone, but if it is sent via SMS or WhatsApp or any other program, it is not shown on the watch, and whenever the program is I opened it and realized that I have a new message

Ok appreciate that hence the "silly question" comment.

On your new watch, there are far more options than there used to be.

On the Watch (and again I'm going up temper this with silly question" but please go to settings, notifications and ensure notifications are turned on there.

Then go to the apps on the watch and again ensure that notifications are turned on.
