Hi,

I recently updated my Samsung S24, and since then, I've been experiencing overheating issues. I've taken the following steps to try and fix it:

  • Performed a soft reboot

  • Cleared the cache partition

  • Used app optimisation

After doing this, the phone works fine with apps  like YouTube and TikTok. However, it still overheats significantly within 2–3 minutes when using Instagram or playing games.

I'd really appreciate any help or advice on how to fix this.

Thank you.

Same issue here. My battery manager even says that the instagram uses the most battery and it is NOT the longest on screen.

Update: The Instagram fixed it. New version came out and now its back to normal. No more drain and heating.

It was the Instagram issue.

It will likely be a background app, not YouTube.

In relation to COD have you checked you have the right version for your device?

Come on !!!!
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.
