Order of Networks in a Dual eSIM setup

Hello,

I have recently acquired a Samsung S24 Ultra.

I have started using it with a physical SIM (primary network) + an eSIM (secondary network, from a country I have previously lived on).

With this setup, I had the primary network showing first on the status bar, followed by the eSIM network.

I have decided to change my physical card (for my primary network), with an eSIM card, to have a dual eSIM setup.

Everything seems to be working fine, but there is an issue that is bothering me! The order of the networks, on the status bar, has changed. Now, the secondary network shows first, followed by my main network.

I have tried to change this, by removing all eSIMs, and add them in different orders. No matter what I do, the secondary network always shows up on the left, followed by the primary on the right.

This isn't a big deal, but it's killing the OCD in me! :smiling-face:

Can anyone help me with this?

Unless things have changed I was under the impression that several esim profiles can be stored but only one used at a time that uses the 2nd sim slot, with the first sim slot being for a physical sim card @milcs40

Edit > I see from further investigation the s24 series offers dual eSim set ups !

Have a look in your sim manager section to set whichever primary esim you want to do what to see if that helps.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Is the network that shows first default for mobile data?

In my dual eSIM setup, my primary eSIM is the one I want. My "MEO" eSIM is being used as the primary SIM for calls, messages and data. My other eSIM is only there for receiving calls on my old phone number (from another country).

This is all good! What is bothering me, is that on the status bar, the network signal that shows first, is the one from the eSIM 2 (Free, that I am using in roaming), and not the eSIM 1 (MEO)!

Sorry for bumping... but would anyone be able to help me with this?

In a nutshell, I would like to change the order of the signal of the networks in the status bar, in a setup with two eSIMs.
