Recently got a new Galaxy S24+ and updated to UI 7.0. There were some changes I didn't love but could deal with. The big thing for me, though, is that the app screen is now a vertical scrolling page, instead of the horizontal scrolling pages there was before. I have never been a fan of endless scrolling pages such as this, and have always loved that my Galaxy (previously had a S22) did not have this feature.
I am aware there is a way to revert to the horizontal pages, but the apps are then in a "custom" order that, in my opinion, seems to be a senseless, random order. There is no way that I have found to revert back to an alphabetical, horizontal scrolling app screen. For a company like Samsung, which touts how customizable their user experience is, this seems like a huge misstep. Why is there no option to choose between horizontal and vertical, and between alphabetical and custom order? Would love to know if this is a feature that will be restored, or if there is a way to return to the previous app screen setup that I haven't found.

It worth to note that the Stable release will be out from the 7th of April and it is very likely that it will differ from the Beta.
