What Samsung has failed to realize is that the S22,S23,and S24 whether it be the S,+,or Ultra users also bought a flagship device just like the S25 user and they expect flagship service but aren't getting it. What needs to happen is all of the users that feel this way should get together and contact the FTC about Samsungs blatant withholding of the update. The more that complains to the FTC will only help get something done. As it stands Samsung is false advertising with every flagship. I don't know about you but if you tell me that I will receive 7 years of OS updates I expect at least 7 updates not 5 or 6 but 7. Did anyone notice that the S23 is the only S Series phone that did not release with a new OS? So S22 users got screwed instead of 4 OS updates as Samsung promised and advertised they will only receive 3 because Samsung skipped a year on OS updates. When you spend that money for the device all the money isn't for just the device. You are paying for the Device, the software, the warranty, the OS updates, and the Security patch updates. Sorry but Samsung isn't holding up to it's end of the bargain.

Maybe there should be a banck account set up for Samsung, and the get an allotment every so many months. If they don't pull their weight they don't get the allotment until they do. Bet they would get that update out ASAP.

Maybe people should stop beta testing for Samsung. I mean they used the S24 owners to beta test One UI 7 for the S25 then won't release it to the S24. Talk about a spit in the face. I have a feeling that we are going to have some mad S25 owners is what I think. Apparently Samsung jumped the gun and released a buggy OS. Maybe that is the hold up?

I'm leaning on the Pixel 10 when it releases. At least it will be running the newest everything. And I would never have to wait on Samsung again.

When I looked into trading in my S24U (April 2024) and the amount of money I would get for it I was shocked. Last year I sold my at that time 3.something year old iPhone 13ProMax 256 for 560 euros.  When I looked 2 weeks ago for my S24U? Just about 520 euro. Quite the difference.

With the stacked, limited positions and preferred regions in Samsungs beta test environment they miss out on nipping bugs in the butt. Look at Apple. Open beta testing for all. Developers and Public.

I am curious what bugs there still are in OneUI7 for the S25 series. Nothing they can't fix.

Bugs in Samsung Apps? Daily fixes in Samsung Store

Security patches? Could be daily as it's Android related

OneUI? Monthly.

It should not be that difficult.

Samsung is apparently no longer able to release regular monthly security updates. No February updates yet.

And see here how prominent members of this community mock the frustrations of S24 owners

tell you what? at least you got the security patch for January, I'm still running the security update from December 1st 2024 on my s24 ultra and checking for update almost everyday, all what I get is: "your software is up to date" what gives me the feeling of owning a 10 years old galaxy phone
