Hi, Tomorrow probably.

I checked today and there was a patch available from Jan 1st for my S24 U, I was hoping that Samsung would bundle with the One UI7 but hopefully tomorrow we will give it t a try. Fingers crossed.

Apparently, Samsung keeps their billions for themselves and fired half the staff or I simply don't have logical explanation. They can't make OS for so long? Android 16 is already out for public testing they can't figure out the 15 yet?

Yes, it will be out in the summer but I suppose Android 16 for Samsung will be out next year with their new boring Ultra phone.

If not in a hurry, consult with the Samsung community or the Reddit subreddit to see other users’ reviews of the update. From there, users can decide whether to install immediately or wait for a more stable version.

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the significant delay in the release of the stable One UI 7 update for my Samsung Galaxy S24. Initially, it was expected that the update would be rolled out alongside the Galaxy S25 series on January 22, 2025, yet, as of today, I have not received any official update.

Additionally, I have noticed that my device just got the outdated update of firmware version S921BXXU5AYA5, which includes the January 1st, 2025 security patch. Given that we are already in February, it is disappointing that Samsung has not yet provided an updated security patch or a timeline for the stable One UI 7 release.

To make matters worse, Samsung has now announced a fourth beta version, further delaying the stable update. While I appreciate Samsung’s commitment to quality, repeated delays and the lack of clear communication are causing frustration among users who have been eagerly waiting for this software update.

Furthermore, I want to emphasize the importance of older Samsung device users. While the latest Galaxy S25 series comes pre-installed with One UI 7, millions of users are still using previous-generation flagship devices such as the Galaxy S24, S23, and S22 series. These users have made significant investments in Samsung's ecosystem, and they deserve timely updates, security patches, and a stable software experience. Neglecting older flagship devices in favour of newer models creates dissatisfaction among long-term Samsung customers, potentially driving them to switch to competitors.

As a loyal Samsung customer, I request:

1. A clear and official timeline for the stable One UI 7 release for Galaxy S24.
2. An explanation for the delay and whether users can expect the update soon.
3. A timely release of security patches to ensure device security and performance.
4. Equal priority for older flagship models, ensuring that existing premium device users are not left behind.

I urge Samsung to address this matter promptly and provide a definitive release date for the stable update. I look forward to a swift response and resolution to my concerns.
