Hello everyone, Has an official release date been announced for One UI 7?

There was never any "expectation" of the release of OneUI 7. All that is opinion driven hopes from people online. Officially, the S25 series has launched today and so it was very much expected the S24 series wouldn't receive the final OneUI 7 until after this point. There's no delay or any such, just needy people hoping to try the latest software. You can't delay something that was never announced in the first place.

It was said that stable release of one ui 7 starting with S series will be in Q1 and no specific date was given all the " hype" and dates came from speculations online, and not from Samsung no specific date was given, as for beta 4 it's aperantly due to s24 series having screen color calibration issue which should be solved in beta 4, and when all bugs are fixed for s24 series and older s series then it will be released to general public on older devices, it's worth waiting as people much rather have polished final product instead one who has bugs and problems.

Not sure that older flagship models should get equal priority? That's one of the joys of upgrading to the latest phones, atleast having a timed exclusive of the new software! Pretty sure that Samsung haven't 100% said the new update would be available to other phones, on the day that the s25 series is officially released!!

I want this update as much as everyone who hasnt a s25 but I would rather them get it right and final and do all there checks then have the update right now on my zfold 5 and have so some bugs and get annoyed and then come on here and complain

Im many ways i agree that there should be an official clear and concise message about the rollout.

However just a question...

Would you rather have an earlier release of software swamped with issues, bugs and instability?

Or would you rather have a stable software that has a great stability and only very rare isolated issues ?

Further to this... the planet is full of world crisis, problems and conflict. Whilst you already have a super stable smart phone with good software (albeit oneui6.x) then is this a 'real world problem' ??

Not trying to put you down and I do understand the frustration right now... but is a few weeks really going to be a massive problem.

Don't shoot me down... just trying to put some perspective on situation.

Far better that Samsung dealt with the colour calibration before releasing the stable version, at least it will stop people complaining that the colours are horrible if it hadn't did nothing about it. As far equal priority every flagship has the equal priority so that statement made earlier doesn't wash with a lot of people, not everyone is fortune to upgrade at a given time, I was lucky enough to be able to do with my network provider as my contract was coming to a end in the next two months.

Can you please define where Samsung released a bulletin saying that One UI7 for older devices would be released at the same time as S25 series?

Lots of speculation online but none of it official. One member even went so far as to tell me it's on YouTube so it must be true 😂😂😂

Samsung is the only manufacturer that has not yet released Android 15 to its flagships. And Google is already working hard on Android 16. What on earth is happening to Samsung? Considering that the S24 is the first AI phone, this should also worry owners of the S25 series.

Having used the S25u for nearly a week, I would say there are very little issues. Reportedly by some, there are some minor items missing, but generally it is in a pretty good state.

Samsung say that the 'S25 has been created from the ground up' with oneUI7 in mind'... and perhaps this means it is better optimised for these functions.

I have nothing to whine about with my experiences of games, daily use, and minor AI use. But then I am not a power user and nor pushing all these AI features either.
