One UI 7.0 charging issue

After updating my S24 Ultra on Friday April 11th 2025 to the One UI 7.0 version, it no longer recognizes my Samsung superfast charging blocks. I did all the routine checks in settings. I checked the cable and blocks and still nothing. Prior to the update the phone was charging great using my Samsung charging blocks. After the update it no longer recognizes the charging blocks. However my buds pro 3, bose open ear and galaxy watch ultra, all recognize the Samsung superfast charging blocks. Does this One UI 7.0 version has issues? Is anyone else getting this problem?

My s24 will not fast charge or superfast charge anymore had port replaced but still same issue does anyone know what's going on phone only 6 months old never near water or dropped very annoying

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Repairs done through an official Samsung repair center come with their own warranty—I'd suggest reaching out to them to sort it. If it wasn't done by an official repair center, that's probably why… in which case, I would get it repaired by Samsung, but that would be a paid repair.

*assuming youve tested other 45w 5A cable and chargers to confirm its the phone

My brother, this is not a charging port issue. Read through the hundreds of messaged. This happened because of the last software update. Going through the theatrics of sending a phone away to be checked and repaired is just a way of gaslighting the end users. There is no equipment repair. The last update needs a patch...

The reason I say repair- different from other reports is down to the fact they've gotten it replaced already- which suggests it was broken, 6 months ago was way before the ui7 released for s24U. Its clear its not every s24U with this issue.

Same issue here. Super Fast charging doesn't work since oneUI 7 update. Even latest June update did not repair that issue.

Same problem here on S24 ultra, only after the update. I've never had something like charging break with a software update before, unbelievable for such an expensive device. June update also did nothing to fix the problem. 

The update also meant that my USB DAC no longer works at all, it doesn't detect the connection. They've clearly somehow broken something with the port during the update.

Same here. S22 with original Samsung charger. Super fast charging was working perfectly up until right before the last software update. None of the solution offered here has worked.

I reached out to support via Samsung members and this is what they told me. Aint no way I'm doing that!

Have the same issue on S10 Galaxy Ultra. No fast charging any more. The same charger + cable works fine on my S23+ showing up as fast charging and when I plug it in to S10 Ultra its just normal charging.
