After updating my S24 Ultra on Friday April 11th 2025 to the One UI 7.0 version, it no longer recognizes my Samsung superfast charging blocks. I did all the routine checks in settings. I checked the cable and blocks and still nothing. Prior to the update the phone was charging great using my Samsung charging blocks. After the update it no longer recognizes the charging blocks. However my buds pro 3, bose open ear and galaxy watch ultra, all recognize the Samsung superfast charging blocks. Does this One UI 7.0 version has issues? Is anyone else getting this problem?

Finally found a fix that worked. It's linked to the battery protection. I turned on max battery protection and it reenabled super fast charging and went from stating 1hr and 30 minutes until full charge to 33 minutes.

Hi all, I just got a UI update and my phone is now charging again using the cable. I'm so happy but so mad with Samsung that made me struggle for what? Three months only charging with a wireless charger that I needed to buy due to the issue that they created and didn't acknowledge.

This might be the only time in my 30 years of cell use that I'm wanting an update. Hope I get the same update. Battery life has gotten worse.

Yes, I am facing the same issue since the one ui 7 update, before the update it charged 80-90% in just an hour but now it takes over 2 hours to fully charge, it still shows the "super fast charging" message and estimates approximately from 50 mins to 1 hr 15 mins, but it takes way longer than that. It would be very convenient if this issue is resolved by Samsung as soon as possible.

Hard to believe it could get worse from the first update. This most recent update basically destroyed my battery. I am not happy.

I recently purchased an S22 Ultra, which came with UI 6.1 and Android 14. I updated it without knowing that UI 7 causes this problem with fast charging. I've tried everything and can't find a solution. Has anyone found a definitive solution?

I want to give an update on the problem, thankfully it got fixed by the recent software update, it's been a journey of self discovery past month, but finally I can live in peace, I Hope all of you who haven't gotten their issue resolved, be able to fix it or it fixes itself.
