After updating my S24 Ultra on Friday April 11th 2025 to the One UI 7.0 version, it no longer recognizes my Samsung superfast charging blocks. I did all the routine checks in settings. I checked the cable and blocks and still nothing. Prior to the update the phone was charging great using my Samsung charging blocks. After the update it no longer recognizes the charging blocks. However my buds pro 3, bose open ear and galaxy watch ultra, all recognize the Samsung superfast charging blocks. Does this One UI 7.0 version has issues? Is anyone else getting this problem?

I have the same problem on Samsung S23+. After upgrading to One UI 7.0 version, the phone started charging very slowly. And the cable began to work only if you insert it into the phone with a certain side.

@Pakustin Exact same issue I'm having. It didn't start happening until the OneUI 7.0 update.

To notify people, if you missed my edit.
Samsung 24 Ultra
I found my problem to the charging issue atleast, for Superfast charging 2.0 (SfC2) to work I HAVE to use a samsung cable, I have used another usb-c cable which gives me the info that SfC2 is working but it isn't...
Use samsung cable for charging, it helped me!!

Yes, I have a cable that is said to be 240 W, and it does not like it. When it goes above 36 W the cable resets itself. So use samsung cable, ideally 5 A one.

Didn't work for me. My battery protection was off by default.

Same for me: ever since the One UI 7 "update," charging takes about twice as long as before on my S23, and the battery drains faster too. I wish I could revert back to 6. (And yes, I did the cache clear thing, twice. No help.)

I have two genuine Samsung cables, both marked 5A and they aren't working.
