No option for galaxy AI

Just got my phone yesterday, all up to date and correct. No option in phone for galaxy ai in my samsung settings. Dont have drawing assist or half of the AI features. Using a galaxy s24 ultra. Strange as my friend has the same phone with no issues and my partner has the flip 6 also with no issues.

What version of software you have? If it's not AXH7, you don't have latest version,  and now Samsung has pulled  the 6.1(1) update for the s24 ultra, it can no longer be downloaded anywhere, I read it on the xda forum

Your device would have shipped with some AI Features and a further update started a couple of weeks ago taking the S24 Ultra to One UI6.1 (based on 6 1.1).

Where did you get your device from? Are you in the UK?

@cemmeth: As above, the availability of some Galaxy AI features is regionally specific, or tied to the One UI 6.1.1 update (which will show as One UI 6.1 on S24 Series devices). To check for any native AI features, please head to Settings > Advanced features > Advanced intelligence.

Uk, bought from the samsung store. I just checked and I've got 6.1 not 6.1.1 so I guess I gotta wait for the roll out? Both my partner and my friend are both in UK also but have the update. Guess I'm just unlucky?

Well I'm unsure what the issue is as both my partner and my friend have it and are also uk based. Is this something I will get eventually or no? As it's partially why I got the phone

S24 Ultra does not get 6.1.1, that is for the Foldable devices.

S24 Ultra has 6.1 with the most recent update in September being modelled on 6.1.1

Well my friend who also has the s24 ultra has the ability to do AI draw in his settings etc and I don't so I'm unsure as to why, I am fully up to date however

Does your friend have the September update (came in at 3gb)? I assume you haven't yet which would likely explain it

There are comments on this forum that the One UI6.1 (September update but still on August Security) may have been paused due to an issue with the cameras (this is confirmed for S23 Series but I myself haven't seen anything about this for the S24 Series yet).

Remember that updates are sent out in batches so if your friends got their devices a while ago, they may get updates before you.

Such a menu was on the S24 ultra before the last update, if there is such a menu then it does not have the latest version of the software, because it is also displayed in Settings as a separate menu like on the z fold 6. On the xda forum it says that you are pulled 6.1. version based on 6.1.1. due to overheating
