Moving Whatsapp Messages from iPhone

I have tried to move my whatsapp messages from my iPhone but it did not work. I've tried every method but I'm keep getting not enough storage space error. Both phones have more than 100 gb free space. So, there should be something wrong. 

My new phone is galaxy s24 and the old one is iPhone 14 pro. 

Is there anyone else having the same problem? If so, how did you fix this problem?

Never used iPhone.

But If you can backup up your WhatsApp stuff in Google ONE or Google Drive . You should be able to then restore it back.

I could be wrong but worth trying.

Yes I followed that. I've tried to reset the phone completely but at some point it says there is no storage but it's 128 gb phone how can it fill up that space. I don't move any photos videos documents or anything. Only the apps

I think I will give up and return this phone. This is definitely something that can be improved
