When I transferred my apps to the S24 from the S23 it did not send the Samsung app for messages. I went to the Message App on my new phone and switched to the Samsung Message App (3 dots) as the Default. When I went to send a message there was no Samsung Message app on my phone. The Google app did not function. I had to go back an make the Google app the default. I can't find the Samsung (3 dots) message app on either the Google App store and Samsung App store. Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this problem. I would prefer the Samsung App to the Google one if there is a solution. Thanks for any advice.

The Samsung Messaging app should have been already on the new phone as part of the apps that are released on the phone.
This one.
The other Samsung messages app is the rcs option.
If you swipe up on your HomeScreen and type in messages it should show the messages app.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

No it is not on my home screen. Only the Google message app. If I go to Apps in Settings it shows both the Google and Samsung App. If I click on default for Samsung message there is no Samsung Message on my Home screen. Kind of weird. Making it the default in settings deactivates the Google message so I am left with no way to message. I have to go back to Settings and switch the default to Google Message. It must be a glitch or something. The Samsung Message App was on my 23 when I transferred all to the S24. Thanks help just going to have to live it I guess.

A few suggestions but nothing that can seem to help with my problem. I transferred it over from my S23. When I go to Settings and click on Apps it appears there along with the Google App. It does not appear on my Home Screen nor App selection box on the Home Screen. I can set it to Default in the App Setting but there is no App on my home screen to send a message. Setting it to default also inactivates my Google message app until I reset it as the default. Has to be glitch in my phone. I haven't seen anyone else ask about this problem.
Thanks.

It is not in the Google or Samsung stores. Plenty of Message Apps with similar appearances but none listed as a Samsung message app. I wouldn't know where to enquire. It seems this is not a major issue of glitch, I haven't seen anyone posting an issue about it other than me. Just going to have to live with the Google App I guess
Thanks
