Recently my phone has started making loud and long tones (like when you dial a number) during a call. It is happening sporadically and the length of tone varies.

Has anyone had this and know how to fix it.

@curlygirl81: Please try opening the Phone app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Call alerts and ringtone > Allow alarm/notification sounds in call > Toggle this option off.

Also, tap the Back button > Supplementary services > Call waiting > Toggle this off. This feature plays a tone when you have a call waiting (if someone calls you while a call is active) and might explain what you're hearing.

Let me know if this helps.

Yep. My s22+ started doing it a few months back. Exactly how you described it.

It's very random. Only happens on mobile calls, always as soon as I answer a call & lasts around 10 seconds or so. Loud enough that I can't hear the caller & when it stops they all say they didn't hear a thing. Strange.

Did it just stop or did you do something in settings?

I think the update stopped it as I didn't do anything but it hasn't happened in ages
