Lost pin

Hello all

My wife recently passed away suddenly and her phone pin was not written down or passed on

Is there a way a sumsung 24 can be accessed without returning it to factory settings and losing all the pictures saved there?

She didn't save to the cloud

No, no way to retrieve data

Do you know how many attempts you can try? I don't want to scrub anything by guessing birthdays etc

You can keep trying but what will happen is that you will get locked out eventually, and for each time you get locked out, there will be a cumulative amount of time added till you can try again. That's assuming she didn't have anti theft software or anything on her phone, which can be set to wipe the phone after too many attempts. Have you tried her Google account? She may have backed up photos to that automatically?

I'm not 100% but I think there is something about if you can log onto her Samsung Account you may be able to make changes to access the device?

I've seen posts about this type of thing before and the Moderators have added a link.......
