Lock screen won't aper (s24 ultra)

Hello, I received my S24 ultra three days ago. While going to sleep, I wanted to check the time and realized that the lock screen wouldn't appear. It goes straight to the home screen. I don't know what happened. I'm looking for answers, but I can't find the solution.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra phones are flawed, both in terms of hardware and software, I think Samsung cheated the customers.

Maybe I'll try, but it shouldn't be like that. Before, it worked perfectly. I've never used any type of screen lock on any device, and this is the first time something like this has happened.

Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed. I also encountered screen freezes. I wouldn't have thought there would be such problems, especially for that amount of money.

Why do you think that there are hardware flaws? it is evident that there are a several software flaws, bugs. There could also be some hardware issues like in all manufacturing processes, but there is no indication that there are intrinsic hardware problems.

I'm confused by your question. You've never used a lock screen and it's not locking. Also why would you need to unlock your screen too see the time. Do you mean the always on display isn't showing? This needs to be turned on manually. It also gets disabled if you turn on power saving in the battery settings.

I think someone doesn't know how to use their phone. There is nothing wrong with the hardware, and the software (like all newly released phones) will have bugs. I've had no issues with my S24 Ultra.

Hi Jeanne, have you found a solution to the issue? I'm having the same issue as yours. I locked my phone, but it will auto unlock when i take up / pick up my phone which I find it so insecure. I only set up Pin and fignerprint in my lock screen setting. So it should not auto unlock my phone as I did not set up my face setting. Why is my S24ultra unlocking the phone by itself. I did not set up any Extend Unlock in the setting. Feel so unsecured like anyone can unlock my phone. Any kind soul can help to advise. Appreciate the help.

Hi, not sure you found a solution but if you set the screen to lock immediately when it turned off, or if you double tap to turn it off then it will lock the screen properly. If you let it lock after 5 seconds or more, you will experience this issue which I think is a software issue.
