Live translate

Good morning all. 

I was wondering would live translate work on foreign language videos. To translate to English, whilst they are playing. Especially when subtitles aren't available. If so how do you set phone for this.

The capabilities for Ai are shown in Settings > Ai.

Some YouTube videos have subtitle options embedded in them.

As far I know, live translate can be enable only on phone calls. "can be enable" being the important part, because it is useless. Live translate is not the interpreter, which works.

I have tested live translate between English and Spanish with two S24 Ultra and the results are useless. It is good for a laugh, but not for any meaningful translation. It will translate the phrases, but it will continue speaking nonsense.

Yeah just trying to get the most out of the phone really as you say it's relatively useless otherwise, more of a gimmick, considering the hype. Very disappointing 👍 👍 👍
