Issue with animations

Anybody know if there is any way to fix this? I've been using fast animations since forever, and now on the s24 ultra they don't work properly,I don't know about other models.

The problem is the app exit animation is slow and the speed nonadjustable. You can either have it slow,or completely off. I like to set all animations to 0.3-0.5x but the app exit animation stays on 1x. It's so strange, it's like they tried so hard to make it smooth that they messed everything up

I've invoked the Developer option on my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra to check mine, and on 0.5 it is most definitely snappier so I'm not sure why your experiencing these issues. 

To be honest I much prefer the settings as normal. 

We will have to wait until a Samsung Moderator chrcks your upload to make sure it does nkt infringe the Samsung Community Rules and then we can see what's happening. 

In the interim you can send feedback via your Samsung Members App.

What do you use to set animation speed? As already mentioned setting via dev options work fine

I use both developer options and adb commands. Most of the animations are fine, but the app exit ( home swipe) animation doesn't match the speed of the other animations and it's significantly slower and choppy. I don't use any launchers and I didn't have this issue on my fold5

I might be seeing differently to you or that particular animation is set to a particular speed and cannot be changed up @Luchius

Yes that's exactly the problem,the speed of that animation cannot be changed and therefore it's not matching the other animations which is really annoying and irritating..

@Luchius true but please do take into account the animations are optimised to run at the speed they are set out in the factory. 

Samsung allow access to the Developer Options to allow various things along side the animations which is really to help developers of apps etc.

The fact we can access these settings easily is a bonus for some but most won't even know how or want to turn on these options.

I understand your point, probably most users are okay with it. But after using pixels and some chinese phones which were all cheaper than this,i can't justify samsung's choppy animations

Do you have Ram plus switched on under storage , turn it off , I had similar, not smooth UI and turning off ram plus helped
