The whole point of this topic is for Samsung's One UI team to provide a basic system setting to be able to do this for all apps in the same way.
There already exists the system-wide setting to do this for multiwindow Split screen, so it's just re-using that same code for it in normal full app view.

I agree that having that option in a click of a button would be nice, because having to go through adb just to make it work is a too much of a hassle that a consumer shouldn't have to go through for a simple customization.
But, because the comment section didn't look like they knew that the adb work around was a thing, I decided to post it while the One UI team doesn't work on that feature since that can help other people that are interested in it.

A simple toggle button for Immersive Mode should hopefully come about in the native One UI settings or in Good Lock.
It would be much better if they added it to the native One UI settings under Settings>Display so that more users could enjoy this feature 'out the box'.
These days with the presence of Good Lock, Samsung Mobile doesn't want consumers hacking into their phones with hardware cables and such as the days of Rooting or 'Jailbreak' should be consigned to the past. That's why Good Lock is very important to dedicated Android users who value software customisation.

I wish Samsung placed a team for constant Good Lock updates, they could make the adb commands as toggles little by little to not overwhelm the consumers and make more customizations available for the ones who want it.
That would be such a win-win since that could become a great optional feature for those who may want to get a Samsung device and are seeing the pros and cons of other brands.
I am just sad they are trying to focus so much of their time and resources on AI features that are not even local based...

A pop-up selfie camera in the S Pen would totally eliminate having a oucn hole selfie camera which of course also compliment a proper "Hide status bar" setting for all apps. It would be visually beautiful.

That actually looks so cool. It really is a mystery. Why they are cancelling a lot of features like that???
Linux on Dex, for example, could have been a game changer for anyone that has the Tab series, people wouldn't need an extra PC to work. But Samsung also discarded the idea...
