Hi, does anyone have any issues with instagram being quite judder when scrolling through the timeline?
It is smooth some times bit mainly quite jumpy.
I'm using a s24 ultra.

Many thanks

Not related directly to your S24 but it's not choppy on my S23. It may be down to the app itself needing an update from the developers. If scrolling in genrral on your S24 is good then yes I'd put to it down to the app itself. Have you checked for any app updates recently?

Instagram have had some issues lately, it suffered an outrage only last week and had suffered one before then too, so i guess it's down to the app itself.

Thank you guys, I find that the phone has no baggy judder issues at all, twitter and instagram and reddit suffer from what can almost described as an electric shock to the pictures and text when scrolling down. Had it with my z flip 3 very bad with twitter bit that seems to be better with s24 ultra but instagram when it's bad it hurts your eyes, when it's smooth it's great... just very inconsistent

The same has been happening with my s24 lately. Need to re-start the app constantly. Though it has reduced my SOT but i didn't want it to be done this way

Hi, have you managed to solve it??

I uninstalled the app randomly...then reinstalled it...and when I signed in...it started to lag when on the home screen when I am scrolling?? Can anyone help? Seems to have only done this now when I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it.

you can't do anything to fix it. only Samsung can . they can choose to look into the issue and provide a fix in a software update. unfortunately samsung doesn't really care.
