Im not sure you'd really gain much by listening to other users because everyones experience is different, and, if you get a lot of replies bigging up many different models, then you'll just be even more confused. Some users will swear by a particular handset, while others will hate it. It's all subjective. I love my S23U, but others will say the S24U surpasses it.
Consider what it is YOU want from the device and, if possible, visit a Samsung experience store to get a feel for the real thing. Obviously, If you have a particular device in mind, then by all means, ask, and we'll try to give you an honest and unbiased opinion.

As much as I'd big up the virtues of the S24 Ultra
It's a large phone, and although you can set it to use with one hand.
I'm sure a smaller version would be a greater value to you.
Comes down to what you need the device to to fulfil your requirements.
Also depends on your budget

Hey there

My advice would be to go into a phone shop such as Vodafone, EE, o2 or Three and have a play with the devices on show.

Given your challenges, you may find a smaller device may be easier in the hand but you may prefer a bigger screen.

By physically touching the devices, you'll get a better feel for them. After that, you need to decide android or apple. Then what you need your phone to do.

Maybe take advice in the shop and see their thoughts too?

I would say go for a small device like Fold 4/5 or s24 , because of your one hand usage. Your experience matters, go to a shop, experience which suits you and buy it.

Some fantastic advice given in the replies @kaffgee  👏

You could also use YouTube to try and create a shortlist of phone's that catch your eye to fulfill your wants and needs.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

If you are on the move most of the time, get a small phone like the s24, etc.

If you are most at home.

You could splash on the s24 ultra with a phone stand where you can prop it on a table on the stand and use it.

Also, consider the newer s9 tablets ( again of you are mostly at home) as their are easier to just rest on your lap and use with one hand.

Ultimately you need to see your own use case scenario and decide.

@kaffgee    sorry  you had a stroke, hope you will at least be stable.    As others have said if possible it is best to have hands on experience , can also look at video reviews. It also depends on needs, budget  but a compact phone would suit you best.   could consider Flip Devices  in addition to the others mentioned, some guidance on screen sizes in this article https://www.samsung.com/uk/mobile-phone-buying-guide/what-screen-size/

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
